Adult basic education (Nt1)

This course is for anyone who has difficulty with the Dutch language in everyday life.

Sign up for the course. After applying we will arrange an intake interview. During this interview we will check your level of Dutch by talking to each other.

During this course you will learn to improve your reading and writing. After the course you will be able to read e-mail, fill out forms, read the newspaper, send e-mail and work with apps on the smartphone on your own.

The reading and writing course is part of basic education. This course teaches you to read and write at the level 1f or 2f (Secondary vocational education).

The lessons are taught two half-days a week. The average needed time for the course is around one year.

You can follow the course in Bergen op Zoom, Roosendaal or Breda.

You will have to complete assignments and tests during the course. At the end of the course you will receive a certificate.

You can start any time depending on the number of applications. This can be in a new group or an existing group. Sometimes there is a waiting period depending on your choices and preferences.
